summer color scheme
I was having a Monling Lee moment the other day. I always admire how she blocks unexpected colors together. One of my favorites was this little number where she blocks chartreuse, tangerine, and mint. I find color to be so inspirational, so I had a lot fun putting on this look. Forget having a color pop, go for an overall pop!
I've been loving a slide sandal this season, so effortless and cool. When I saw these slides on sale with an additional 50% off, I knew it was a no-brainer. I totally understand why these were on super sale; they are bright neon orange. It's like I have fluorescent bulbs on my feet; however, when blocked with other bright colors, they lose a bit of their radiance (in a good way).
So now, my new dressing resolution is to challenge my vision of color, playing with different color blocks and to just have fun with it. Thanks Monling for the much needed inspiration. Make sure to follow her blog and check out her Instagram!
