Sweaters worn as scarves? Yup, thats the go-to this fall and we're loving it. Also major s/o to Man Repeller for validating for us how cool this look truly is. Being a layer lover, I can attest that this can be a hard task to pull off in some warm California weather. The sweater scarf is a perfect way to look oh so cozy and fall, without being a sweaty hot mess- been there and it's not cute. It's also a great way to recycle some sweaters.
I can't lie- it took me a couple times to get the scarf look down. Tip #1: Create some folds and use a little scrunch action to fluff it up. Tip #2: Use a thicker textured sweater if you're looking for more of a scarf feel. I kinda did the opposite, but hey, it did the trick! So the next time you're looking for an element of surprise, wrap a sweater around your neck and call it a scarf. Can't wait till the weather gets legitimately cold and I can rock this over a denim jacket.
