Monthly Roundup: April 2020
April has been a busy month despite you know, not leaving our apartments.
Things sunk in, and we went a bit stir crazy.
How’d we handle it? Cleaning out our closets (Slim Shady was onto something)
Oh, and getting dressed (of course)
Join our journey on everything else we did this month…
TV:
It’s been a month and Bravo has been here to fulfill our reality needs- specifically housewives- but we’ve been also loving Summer House and newbie Family Karma. Don’t miss out on the latter, it’s a good one. OK, back to Housewives- RHONY has been a GD sh*tshow. We’re loving the new wife Leah. Beverly Hills has also stepped up it’s game (thx goodness) and we’re ready for the 90210 drama. Are we Team Denise or team everyone else? Only time will tell.
Not a Bravoholic (that sucks)- we recommend the below new releases:
Unorthodox
Curb Your Enthusiasm
COOKING:
*ultimate Drunk In Love Voice *
We’ve been cooking. Things like:
Olive Bread - Added green olives to the No Knead Recipe & ofc was inspired by Acme.
Moroccan Chicken - For a veg remix sub cauliflower, chickpeas, and potato
And when we’re over cooking, we’ve been ordering Cotogna.
MUSIC:
We’re keeping the playlists going. Yes, it’s a bit inspired by being inside, and a lot inspired by what is popular on Tik Tok. Oh, did we tell you? We got a Tik Tok.
LIFESTYLE:
We’ve been trying to stay active. Luckily the internet makes this a little easier. We have been loving our afternoon walks around the neighborhood. As eerie as it may be, there’s something really pretty about an empty city. Some other recs below-
Moxie Yoga has been streaming zoom classes. We sweated our butts off to Tanya’s Saturday Sweat & Sip class. FYI- she always has the best jams.
Biyaya Yoga is great for a live practice, meditation practice, and generally feeling good/connected.
Self Acupressure Classes with Rodrigo. We shouted this out in March too because it’s that good! It is immuno-boosting and helps with anxiety.
